If I assessed it correctly, these messages go over this talk email list.
For me, my grandmother was my link with my past. She taught about my family and showed me various skills and stood up for me in the middle of family disagreements when that had to happen.
My grandmother was very skilled. She taught me how to sew, although it probably scared her to do it. She was a farm woman and she thought that everything could be done if it was approached the right way.
I remember, way back in the early mists of my beginning, my grandmother and grandfather, sitting across from one another, almost touching, gradually backing away, making that space widen, calling me from one to the other, teaching me to walk.
I remember my grandmother and wish you and your family condolences on the passing of yours.
Realizing that not everyone holds the same values, I except that we pass into a better place and that we have a plan and something beyond this life.
Blessings and all the best, even in this time of passing and loss.
