[Ohio-Talk] Sad news

[Barbara Pierce]

Some of you will remember Joyce Scanlan. She was first Vice President of the NFB for many years and president of the NFB of Minnesota for many more. She was the first director of BLIND, Inc. She was hospitalized last Saturday with heart failure and apparently died in her sleep Monday night. Tom does not want calls right now. Joyce was one of the best—tough when she needed to me, and really compassionate and imaginative always.
