Hello,

It is with a heavy heart that I have to let all of you know about the loss of an active member of the Merchants Division, Brian White.  He passed away on Saturday, and he will be missed.  I have known Brian since I came into the Business Enterprise Program, and am lucky enough to be able to call him a friend.  Though he wasn’t very active at the chapter level, he did quite a bit for the Federation.  He was one of the founding members of the Merchants Division, and a frequent contributor to our hospitality room at state conventions.  He gave annually to our division financially, and I know he attended at least 1 Washington Seminar, as well as contributing testimony to our legislators at the state level on behalf of the blind of Ohio.  He was a long time member of the Ohio Vendors Representative Committee, and spent countless hours advocating for blind vendors throughout his career.  Please join me in offering your thoughts and prayers to his wife and family.
