TO the person with the BARD issue,
I work for NLS BARD Tech Support and just happened to see your message.
If you have a second generation stream or a Victor Trek, you don't eed the
computer. You can download directly to the Stream.
If you have a first generation Stream and must use the computer, we always
recommend BARD Express. It does all the downloading and unzipping for you
automatically.
Just go to
https://nlsbard.loc.gov
and log in with your email and password.
About two-thirds of the way down the page, you will find a heading called
BARD Express
Click on this link. Install the program, which is quite easy to do. You
will find it extremely intuitive as it pretty much tells you what to do the
minute you launch it, but if you have trouble, write with questions to
NLSDownload at loc.gov

And I or one of my colleagues can help.
Good luck.
Deborah

Have you placed them in the correct folder?

Did you unzip the books before transferring to your stream?

I am not sure if I could get a person at Human Ware so I thought I could ask
you guys. I have downloaded a bunch of bard books onto my laptop. I have
tried to transfer them to a SD card for my victor reader stream but it is
not recognizing them to play them. It shows that they are taking up space on
my SD card but when I put it into my victor it will not read out the titles.
Does anyone have any advice on why this could be happening?
