You Can Stand In Three Different States At Once In Williams County, Ohio
April Dray
Driving along County Road 1 in Williams County, Ohio (or 1000E in Steuben County, Indiana), you'll encounter a lonely dirt road, rural views and a peculiar marker.

The GPS coordinates of the marker are 41.696123, -84.805956. To view the exact location of the marker in a separate tab or window via Google Maps, click here.
The large memorial boulder points to the bench marker where three states meet: Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. It was erected in 1977 by the Hillsdale County Historical Society in Michigan.

Please note: The boulder itself is not the point where the three states converge. The true marker is about 130 feet south from the boulder in the roadside weeds.
It's uncommon to see anyone traveling along this road or even stopping by to observe the marker, so you'll likely have the place all to yourself.

You'll also find a marker for Michigan on the dirt road. A square "M" indicates the starting point of our rival state.
After you've stood in three places at once and taken your pictures, take some time to enjoy the sweeping countryside views of rural Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
