Hi,
The past several days have truly been a rollercoaster. Each day we find ourselves both broken hearted by the global public health struggle and comforted by the generosity that so many individuals are showing others during this difficult time.
We want you to know that if you need support during this time, Be My Eyes is here. Continuing to route thousands of calls per day for anyone in the world who needs visual support. We’ve also just released a new episode of The Be My Eyes Podcast with some resources, ideas and a behind the scenes look at what we’re doing at Be My Eyes to adjust.
Our Specialized Help partners from Google, Microsoft and others are continuing to provide top notch customer support, and our teams in Denmark and the United States are doing everything wecan to provide enhanced support experiences for our sight-sharing community.
On Monday, March 30, we’d like to invite you to our first Be My Eyes Community Call. We are looking forward to bringing people together from around the world to gather, share experiences, and benefit from each other’s knowledge. I couldn’t think of a time where this is more important, and I’m looking forward to meeting some of you, digitally over Zoom. The call in details are below:

What can you do to support?
One thing is for sure: With a volunteer network now approaching 3.7 million, we can handle an even higher volume of calls. Now is the time where people in isolation or living alone need to know that we are there for them.
The best thing we can do to help other folks in isolation is to spread the word that free help is available. We’ve issued video messages this week in Italian, Spanish, English and Danish. If you want to help us spread the word in other languages, please tag us on social media or e-mail a link to your translated video at community at bemyeyes.com.
Request Specialized Help
We are working hard to identify Specialized Help partners that would be of great value to you during this time and move quickly to get them onto Be My Eyes. For this, we’d love your input. You can fill out our Specialized Help request form or email solutions at bemyeyes.com if you’d like to give feedback.
We will be in touch a bit more often in coming weeks with more updates, resources and announcements. We hope each and every one of you is safe, healthy and cosy in your home.
All the best,
Will Butler,
VP of Community at Be My Eyes
