National Federation of the Blind of Ohio
Offers a presentation on: Tips and Tricks for Navigating the Rehabilitation
System with Fred Schroeder.
May 13, 2020 7:00 PM eastern standard time.
Many of our members have indicated that we need to offer advocacy training
for individuals engaged with the rehabilitation system in Ohio and for those
who wish to serve as advocates. Before you can advocate effectively for
yourself or someone else you must understand the system. Join us on
Wednesday evening, May 13, at 7:00 PM as Fred Schroeder teaches us the
basics of navigating the rehabilitation system. Fred is a former
Rehabilitation Service, Commissioner, a dynamic speaker and leader in the
National Federation of the Blind.
You do not have to be a member of the National Federation of the Blind or a
member of the Ohio Affiliate to join!
So, come all!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back
