Good morning,

I would like to invite all of you to tune in this morning to this months capital chapter voice core radio show! This month will be one that you do not want to miss. My guest this morning will be our own Deborah Kendrick, and we will be discussing her book about navigating the healthcare system while being blind. There are many unique considerations as blind people that we have to deal with when going to doctors offices, hospitals, and other medical facilities. Deborah has written a great book discussing these concerns and I am looking forward to talking to her today on the radio about these.

The show will begin at 11 o’clock this morning.
And you can listen to the show by enabling the voice core skill on your Alexa devices and asking her to open voice corps. You can also go to The Voice core website at voicecorps.com and listen to the live stream. If you have any questions of situations that you have experienced during your interaction with healthcare professionals and would like to ask our own expert, Deborah Kendrick, about these, now will be your chance. You can call during the show at 614-274-7992.

I hope everybody will tune in!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.
