[Ohio-Talk] Please make it easy to Adopt a senior

Good morning,

I wanted to clarify a couple of things. The people on the Facebook list are just those who have signed up for that group. Their bios have been posted to this list serve, and they can be adopted at any time. As for the ones at the school for the blind, I have been in communication with their principal. I am waiting to get a list of what ever identifying information they will be allowed to give me. I have asked for just first names or hometowns or something like that. As soon as I get that information, I will post it. We will make sure that every senior gets adopted by at least one person or chapter Nobody will go without being adopted.

Any questions that anybody has, please feel free to ask.
Have a great weekend!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.

I understand. I imagine that there are communications going on between some of our members and the people at OSSB.

The school must protect their privacy. We cannot get any information about them.

Not until we are going to mail something to them. And since this would be public info on Facebook, why not provide it here in a list on OhioTalk as well?

I don't desire to prove that I am an accomplished Facebook user. I just want to adopt a high school senior. I bet there are many people like me here on OhioTalk.
