Shelley,
I want to say that it is not good to hear about this and on behalf of the federation understand that we are with you so if you need us please reach out to your family.

PS
That is something that is very serious, and we stand ready to assist.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Subject: [Ohio-Talk] A message from the Columbus health department

I tested positive for Covid on Monday. When the health department contacted me today, I asked what blind people are supposed to do when they need a ride to get tested for Covid. Here is what I got back. I spoke to the leadership regarding transportation to testing sites. They suggested that anyone needing assistance with transportation contact the Columbus Public Health Social Work Free Help Line
