Well, the Stringer family definitely has us beat. That sounds wonderful. Especially beer macaroni and cheese. Here in Columbus Jim, Misty, and I went very simple, and kind of sad. We just ordered from Jimmy John’s. So cold subs for us. Not bad, but none of us were very hungry and we wanted something simple. But, even though our meal may not be as good, I share Maggie’s toast to the Federation and our 74th convention. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the banquet.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.

Backyard barbecue! Our meal consist of homemade beef barbecued brisket and
beer macaroni and cheese. As we raise our glasses to our family, Jordy has
a ice cold Bud light and I have a Smirnoff ice wine cooler. We toast the
74th National Federation of the Blind of Ohio state convention!!!!
