Ohio Members and Friends,

As you gather tomorrow for Thanksgiving dinner, remember those who are
eating alone or missing a loved one. 2020 has been a trying year and we
still have weeks to go before 2021 comes in. So, will you take a moment to
whisper a prayer and thanksgiving for strength, peace, gratitude and most of
all solidarity for one another?

We, Ohio members are fortunate to have the federation and members who care,
share and will come to our aid in difficult times. Without you, there would
not be an Ohio Affiliate. Every member matters and belongs. I am certain
that the Ohio Affiliate President, echoes this settlement as well.

If you are available tomorrow, the Ohio Zoom Room will be open at 5:00 to
6:30 PM EDT to welcome you and give thanks for all you do. What a better way
to gather in time of Thanksgiving then around the table, laughing, sharing
stories and partaking of a great meal with our Ohio family.

Stop by to say hello or stay a while, its up to you!

Put your phone on speaker while we dine together.

Below is the Zoom info:

Here are a few funny Thanksgiving quotes!

"For those of you who cannot be with family this Thanksgiving,

please resist the urge to brag."

"An optimist is a person who starts a new diet on Thanksgiving Day."

"Thanksgiving-when the people who are the most thankful are the ones who
didn't have to cook."

Here are a few Turkey Jokes:

"What did the turkey say to the turkey hunter on Thanksgiving Day?" "Quack,
Quack!"

"Why did the farmer have to separate the chicken and the turkey?" "He sensed
fowl play."

"What key has legs and can't open a door?" "A turkey."

"Why did they let the turkey join the band?" "Because he had his own
drumsticks."

"What happened to the turkey that got in a fight?" "He got the stuffing
knocked out of him!"

"What do you call a running turkey?" "Fast food."

Here is a poem that depicts the season!

The year has turned its circle,

The seasons come and go,

The harvest is gathered in,

And chilly north wind's blow,

Orchards have shared their treasures,

The fields, their yellow green,

So open wide the doorway,

Thanksgiving comes again!

Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
