Hello Sadie,
I've heard that people can have a variety of different symptoms from Covid 19, but as I try to imagine how you might be feeling with impaired eyesight and maybe feeling very tired and lonely, some ideas come to mind.
1. You mention Facebook. If you use an iPhone or an adroid phone, there are talking text options such as Voice Over on the iPhone that you could activate and explore. Siri on an iPhone is also very helpful in pulling upand playing things like podcasts.
2. Talk to a friend or two on the phone for a short time maybe once a day.
3. Listen to an audio book. The Library for the Blind has a book discussion group on the telephone once a month. You can attend the book discussion even if you haven't read the book being discussed.
4. Attend a social Zoom meeting like the one NFB Ohio is having this Sunday night.
   5. Open a window or sit outside for a few minutes if the weather is good enough. Sun and the sound of birds and little kids can be uplifting.
Don't push yourself too hard. It is your job to take it easy.
We are thinking of you. Please reach out again if you want someone to talk to.

Subject: [Ohio-Talk] Tips for quarantine life with Covid?

Good evening! I hope everyone had a safe and healthy Thanksgiving! I recently found out that I have been diagnosed with COVID-19, and therefore in quarantine until further notice. Any tips on getting through the days? My vision is blurry with the virus, so it’s tough for me to enjoy things that I used to, such as doing adult coloring books, scrolling through Facebook, or any other social media, and the days are just getting long. Anyone else been fighting the battle? Hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
