[Ohio-Talk] Marriott Job Update, and looking for something better

This is an update about my new job at the Marriott Call Center in Solan in the Cleveland area.

They reopen on September 12th, and since then I asked to work from home, and only because of the Covid 19 pandemic, but they said no.

Their reason was because JAWS users could have technical problems, and that is all they told me.  I find this absurd; I have worked in two major jobs as a JAWS user with the option of working at home at Lexis Nexis as a software engineer, and the Cleveland Sight Center.

I appreciate having a job with good pay, but I don’t like how they treat the blind at this call center.

I’m thinking of going back to CSC, or maybe I’ll try Amazon in my area.
