We also wanted to make sure you know about the Essay Contest – Live Boldly Being Bold: My Story of Living Boldly.  This is your chance to tell us about your Boldness.  How do you live, work and play with a Bold Spirit? What does being bold mean in your life? Would you like help in crafting your story? 

Interested students may attend a workshop to receive mentoring and feedback on their stories, poetry, videos, and essays.  Workshops will be held via ZOOM on April 20 and 21, 4:00 – 5:00 pm each day.  Amy Tuttle, WordPlay’s Program Director, and other teaching artists will conduct the sessions.

 

Rules:

Students in grades 6-12 may submit their story in essay or video

format. Essays are limited to 500 words. Videos are limited to 3

minutes.  Stories and/or poetry are acceptable.

Entries are due to WordPlay Cincinnati on April 30 and winners
