SIL wants to bring about positive outcomes in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Are you a relative, spouse, parent or advocate of an individual that identifies with having a disability? Well, this group is also for you!

Let us all come together and advocate for:

*          Equality

*          Inclusion in laws affecting people with disabilities

*          Legislative Advocacy

*          Long-term systems change and more!

Services for Independent Living (SIL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-residential, community-based organization run by and for individuals with disabilities.  As a Center for Independent Living we are charged with helping and empowering individuals with disabilities to lead healthy, productive lives and to be able to participate in community life as they choose. Our individual and community services are designed to promote independence. Since 1980, we have been working at local, state and federal levels to change governments and society’s perceptions of people with disabilities. SIL’s main focus is to support and assist individuals with disabilities to meet their personal goals; while encouraging and promoting personal and community advocacy.
