Good Morning Joy, Brittany and the approached blind community;
I have been working with Dr. Coatney for about 9 months. She has been very instrumental in the development of the Workforce Ready Program for the disabled, a non-profit organization to train people with disabilities for employment and entrepreneurship, as well as providing outreach support. Please visit:
www.wrpd.org
She has been the recipient of Federal awards for her work in developing programs for enhancing the lives of people in the disabled community.
Dr. Coatney reached out to me to engage the blind community for research about medical equipment that may or may not be produced. While working with me in developing WRPD, she recognized that I participate in a large audience of blind groups and individuals. Her work has been to enhance the lives of people with disabilities in several different ways, and I'm sure that she as well as I would appreciate your efforts in answering the survey.
I have already informed her of the verbiage that she has used in regard to blindness. She has assured me that her terminology in this regard will change.
Please feel free to contact me for any other questions or concerns off list.
"Blind love is the answer, today, and for our future!"
Thank you,
Walter Mitchell

Hi Walter,
This email you are telling us about seems a bit fishy. Would you please let us know more about its origin and goals for this survey.
Thank you,

Walter, I am trying to reach out to as many blind and visually handicapped citizens as possible for a research project. If possible, can you share this link with your connections and ask them to complete the survey. Thank you and we will talk soon.
Would you mind completing this research study for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card? Your response will help develop a product that will serve blind, visually handicapped, and senior citizens with medication compliance.
