Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging

Lisa Weitzman is the WeCare Administrator and Manager of Business Development at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging. She oversees the development of strategic partnerships to drive the delivery of WeCare, a family caregiver support program, and supervises the Care Consultants working directly for ESI. She also spearheads Nutrition Solution, a program to address food insecurity and social isolation through medically-tailored meals for chronically-ill older adults. 

Weitzman has devoted her social work career to working with marginalized, vulnerable populations. Her early experience focused on individuals with chemical addictions and mental health diagnoses discharging from prison. Before joining Benjamin Rose, Weitzman worked with low-income older adults, providing counseling, case management, and advocacy on their behalf. She also has a special passion for social justice and the social determinants of health as they pertain to older adults aging well in the community.
