Good afternoon! As you know, Rep. Richard Brown recently introduced our
Accessible Prescription Labeling bill H.B. 448. One of our
convention sponsors, En-Vision America has offered their assistance in
promoting the passage of the legislation.

The NFB of Ohio and En-Vision America have formed an informal partnership
to develop a publicity campaign to promote H.B. 448. The campaign will have
two main components, a social media campaign, and a traditional media
campaign. We'll even be developing a hashtag to promote H.B. 448 across all
social media platforms.

I am writing today to ask for your assistance with two areas of this
campaign. First, we are developing a video to highlight the importance of
accessible prescription labeling. We are looking for individuals who are
willing to do short video clips about why accessible prescription labeling
is important to their lives. The goal is to put a human face on the problem
and tell both the public and the legislature why this legislation should be
passed quickly. If you are willing to participate in this video please
reach out to me directly - do not reply to the list. I can be reached at
toddelzey at gmail.com or 315-879-1746. We can then work on developing a
script for your video clip and get it recorded via an in-person interview
if you are located where we can get to you, or via zoom.

The second piece of this is we are looking for stories of what accessible
prescription labeling means to individuals and their families for a
statewide media campaign. You can send me your written story at
toddelzey at gmail.com. Again please do not reply to the list. With your
permission, we will then use your story in media releases to outlets in
your area, and it is possible that you may end up being interviewed for a
story by a media outlet in your area.

Thank you for considering helping with this project. Your story can go a
long way towards helping to get H.B. 448 passed. I look forward to hearing
from you, and please let me know if you have any questions about this
campaign.

Thanks!

Todd Elzey, Chairman
NFB of Ohio Publicity Committee
