Hello Everyone,
I hope you got to participate in the Concert to raise Money for the Blind in Ukraine and those who had to flee to other countries.
I didn't even think about it until it was mentioned but what about those who have been blinded due to the war. I also took note of the blind children in a school which was bombed. None of them were injured. I gather most of them are orphans.
I wish I was twenty years younger. I would open my home to one of these children who will need so much support in so many ways.
I am so proud of those from Ohio who sang or read poetry during the Concert.
I am really glad that a phone option was available for those of us who do not do things online. I was able to pledge a donation and wait for someone to call me next week.
You can still donate online or by phone.
I finally started my catnap at 11:25 p.m. I had to get up at 6 AM to get ready for Mass.
If anyone knows how much money was raised and what time concert ended I would like this information.
It would be so frightening to be in a place with so much damage in the infrastructure.
I am sure that most of us cannot even imagine such a horrific experience.
I know that our Prayers and generous support can make a difference.
Colleen Roth
