Ohio Family,
I know some of our members have run into a few issues trying to make their
hotel reservations for the upcoming National Convention in New Orleans.
Jordy and I just finished making our arrangements without any kickups. I
asked the representative to share her recommendations for others booking
their rooms. She suggested that customers state at the beginning of their
call that they are booking under a group. Then, they would give the name,
National Federation of the Blind. Their computer system will require
the agent to book the reservation under a specific website. Our agent
stated that this step was critical because if not booked through this
website, their reservations have not been booked properly.
