[Ohio-Talk] FW: e-reader user guide

Hi Cheryl,
I have had the experience having the e-reader go right to the place I stopped Reading when I turn it back on once I get to the book or Article I am reading.
Sometimes if you enter help dots 125+chord you can read a list of Commands which can be helpful. That's how I first found the Command for Volume.
If you are in a major hurry just let your Unit go to sleep. You can turn it on. It will say shutting down. If you want to shut it down enter OK. If you want to keep reading go down one line with Inner Thumb Key, hit cancel and you will be where you want to be to continue reading.
This works if your doorbell rings.
I will check out the list you sent. Thanks, Cheryl.
Colleen

Hi All. Despite my carefully using the shut down menus to shut off my NLS
Braille e reader, my device occasionally lost my place after I shut it
down. I found the user's guide on the unit to be useless since I did not
know any navigation commands to use when looking at this user guide. I was
somewhere in the middle of volume 3 of the book I was reading, so I quit
reading in disgust.

I was able to get the attached list of Braille e reader commands from Ken at
LBPD. I bet there are many other people out there who would enjoy seeing and
using these accessible directions. Enjoy!
