Good morning,

Todd this is great information to share, and I am still tweaking the
settings for the list so again please be patient.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Subject: [Ohio-Talk] Voting Resources

Good morning. Following last Tuesday's elections I have seen numberou posts
on the list about voting issues. Ensuring accessible voting is one of the
NFB's most important priorities. The NFB National website has a number of
resources regarding voting, including a series of videos showing how several
accessible voting machines work. These videos may be of use to both you as
voters and to County Boards of Election. In addition, the voting resources
page has links to the NFB's annual voter survey. Regardless of whether you
had a good or bad experience, taking this survey is important because it
helps the NFB collect data on the voting experiences of blind people across
the country. This data then helps the NFB push Federal and State governments
to create more accessible processes for both in person and absentee voting.
So please take the time to take the survey. All of the NFB's great voting
resources can be found at https://nfb.org/resources/voting-resources
