Good morning,

I would like to remind all of you of the meeting listed below for tomorrow night, Monday, September 19 at 7 o’clock. The Ohio library for the blind and print disabled would really love patron feedback on the questions listed in the email below, so we will be holding a forum going over these questions so I can collect Your thoughts and feelings about the library service. I will then take this back to the library so that they can use the information to improve their services.

Again, please join me tomorrow night at seven in the Ohio zoom room. Looking forward to have a very good discussion about this vinyl service that means so much to many of us.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.

Good morning,

As many of you may know, I serve as the representative for the NFB of Ohio on the consumer advisory committee for the Ohio library for the blind and print disabled. I really enjoy doing this because of my passion for reading and my appreciation of the library service. As you can see in the below email, the library is asking those of us on this committee to reach out to our groups to obtain information about your thoughts and feelings about the library service. Below you will see a list of questions that we are gathering information for. We would appreciate it if you would take the time to answer these questions so that we can advise the library on what our groups would like to see from their service. If you would like, you can answer these questions and return the answers directly to me. Or, if you would prefer to join in a discussion of these questions, I will be holding a forum to go over these questions and get a lot of feedback from participants in the Ohio zoom room on Monday, September 19, at 7 o’clock. Thank you so much for participating and helping the library to provide a better service for all of us.

Subject: CAC Focus Group and Questions

Good Morning CAC Members,

As discussed during the May meeting, OLBPD is evaluating user experience and patron satisfaction in 2022. To that end, a focus group will be held at our CAC meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 10:30 am.

In preparation for the focus group, here are the questions we will be discussing:
When you recall all the aspects of your service experience with the Library, what overall grade would you give it?

What are the features you expect of a great customer service experience from the Library?

Think about a company or organization that consistently delivers a great customer service experience—one that wowed you. If they oversaw the Library's service experience, what is one thing they would likely do?

What is the best way for the Library to communicate with you? Why?

When you think about the 'Library of the future', what two things do you hope you will be able to do?

Is there anything we did not touch on that you feel is important?
As your agency's representative to the CAC, please discuss these questions with library consumers, and be prepared to share during the focus group. If you are unable to engage in any discussion with other library users, please be prepared to represent their interests. Even if you are unable to attend the focus group, please email me your responses ahead of the meeting to include with our discussion.

If you have questions leading up to the focus group, please let me know.

Thanks & Have a Great Summer,

Will
