I am glad to know insurance companies are promoting different options for smart labels for people who are blind or visually impaired. I am happy it is finally happening.

Spoken Rx: 

Offered by CVS Pharmacy®, Spoken Rx is a “smart tagging” system designed for people with impaired vision. It works with the CVS smart phone app. To use it, scan a smart tagged prescription label with your phone. Your directions are then read out loud to you in English 
or Spanish.

ScripTalk: 

This tool scans your prescription labels. It then reads out the drug name, dosage, warnings and refill information. It works with either a free smartphone app or a small device you can purchase. Pharmacies like Walmart, Hy-Vee, 
H-E-B and more can add labels to your prescriptions that work 
with ScripTalk.

Talking Pill Reminder: 

Walgreens offers a service that delivers your directions with the push of a button. Pharmacists record themselves reading your prescription information. The recording is then stored and placed on a button-like device that can attach to the bottom of most pill bottles. Talking Pill Reminder is typically available at no cost to people with documented impaired vision. Others may have to pay a small fee for the service.

Other Options: 

Many pharmacies also offer more basic tools for people 
with impaired vision. Labels with large text or in braille are usually available.
