Subject: Details about the Field Study at Cuyahoga
To:
Good evening,
Happy holidays! I am writing to you because you had expressed an interest in participating a field study at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I have some details to share about that.
The field study is scheduled for Thursday, January 11 from 10 AM to about 1:00. We will all meet at the Boston Mill Visitor Center at 10 (transportation is on your own), a ranger will give us an overview about the breadth and scope of the park. She'll then lead us on a walk along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. We will then come back to the visitor center, and conclude the visit with a focus group. Feel free to bring sighted companions. As a reminder, participating in my research involves listening to the audio described brochure of the park and completing a brief demographic questionnaire beforehand, visiting the park, and participating in a focus group after the visit. I will offer you $50 for your time and effort. Lunch is not included, so you might want to bring a brown bag. If you are still interested in participating, please let me know at your earliest convenience. My e-mail is sazza at hawaii.edu <mailto:sazza at hawaii.edu> , and my cell is 808-255-2206. Please help me by spreading the word about my field study
Thank you,
--
