[Ohio-Talk] Happy Birthday Louis Braille

Fellow Federationists:

Happy Braille Day indeed. As Marianne pointed out Braille has been around
for many years, but that doesn't mean that braille is stagnant. The
National Federation of the Blind in partnership with the American Printing
House for the Blind has been working on a project that will take Braille to
a new level. This project is the creation of a multi-line refreshable
Braille display that includes the ability to view tactile graphics. I had
the pleasure of seeing the prototype of this device demonstrated in early
December, and it is amazing. Essentially, this device will allow readers to
read Braille books using a multi-line display while also having access to
tactile pictures from those books or other sources. The device will also
allow you to write multi-line braille text and create your own tactile
pictures. Read about the many opportunities this device will offer in th
