The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio cordially invites you to a presentation by James Clinkscale, ADA Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the State of Ohio, to commemorate the 33rd Anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This presentation will take place on Wednesday, July 26, from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Ohio Zoom Room.

Mr. Clinkscale was appointed in May 2019 by Gov. Mike DeWine as Ohio's first ADA Coordinator to support his commitment to establishing the State of Ohio as a disability inclusion state and model employer for people with disabilities.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Clinkscale served for 22 years as Manager of Diversity / Inclusion and ADA Coordinator at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), where he worked extensively with individuals and organizations in the disability community.

In his current role, Mr. Clinkscale advises boards, agencies, and commissions within Ohio's executive branch on compliance with state and federal disability rights law, consults with state agencies on barriers to employment for people with disabilities and means of eliminating them, and ensures that available resources are brought to these efforts.
