Ohio Passes Anti-Discrimination Custody Bill, SB202, Supporting Parents with
Disabilities

(Sylvania, OH - April 28, 2023) The Ability Center and other statewide
agencies (listed below) will hold a press conference celebrating the passing
of SB202, anti-discrimination Custody Bill Supporting Parents with
Disabilities on Friday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Ohio Statewide Independent
Living Council (OSILC) in Columbus, OH. 

This new law makes it unlawful for Ohio decision-makers to discriminate
against parents with disabilities in making decisions about custody.

NOTE: Press conference will be live streamed on The Ability Center's
Facebook page.

Speakers will share their experience of parenting with a disability, and
children will be present.
