All of the above. The books that are read by a human are limited since
Bookshare just began making them available. If you find a book you want to
download you get different options. The options include DAISY, BRF, and
Word. If you want to read on your smart phone you will need an app and there
are several available. You can also use your Alexa to listen to books as you
work around your home.

What type of books are available on Book Share? Human voice recorded,
computer synthesized speech or a format that can be read with a Braille
display? Thanks for this announcement!

Anyone who receives books from the OLBPD can sign up for Bookshare on the
OLBPD institutional account. It is free and will be available on a year by
year basis. This is great news and I have taken advantage of it. If you are
interested contact the library and they will provide the information to get
signed up.
