I am so sorry. Our guide dogs rap us around their little paws and we love
them so much no matter how long or how short our working time is. Keep us

Good evening Federation family. About a month ago, I wrote to introduce you
all to my amazing new guide dog, Lester. At 8:30 AM yesterday, I held her
leash for the last time. We had some incidents and problems that the field
rep and foundation could not ignore. Although Lester was an incredible
guide, my Safety must come first, and her dog distraction problems were
causing my Safety to be of concern. She will forever and always be my first
guide dog, and I am truly devastated to lose her. She will always be my
first guide dog. She will always have my heart. Prayers are appreciated as I
prepare, grieve, and wait for my next Guide and companion.
