Good morning,
I feel so grateful to be your president and be recognized as the president
of Ohio in my travels.
I have enjoyed my stay here in Mississippi visiting my daughter and
grandkids. Yesterday my granddaughter from Georgia also joined us for my
Daughters birthday dinner.
To day I will continue visiting the state convention of Mississippi where it
all started. I have included the agenda for those who may wish to join the

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National Federation
of the Blind; to achieve equality opportunity and security for the blind; to
support the policies and programs of the federation; and to abide by its
constitution.
NFB One Minute Message
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
NFB OF MISSISSIPPI
NFB of Mississippi
Keeps rolling along,
NFB of Mississippi
Is seven chapters strong,
NFB of Mississippi
We're on the right track;
National Federation of the Blind.
NFB of Mississippi
Change what it means to be blind,
NFB of Mississippi
Is marching in time,
NFB of Mississippi
There's no turning back;
National Federation of the Blind.
NFB of Mississippi
Is equality,
NFB of Mississippi
Gives opportunity,
NFB of Mississippi
Has security;
National Federation of the Blind.
