STEM2U
Held at The Ohio State School for the Blind (OSSB) in Columbus with the
National Federation of the Blind of Ohio
Attend the National Federation of the Blind STEM2U program, a transformative
day of discovery designed for blind youth. They will learn fundamental
nonvisual tools and techniques for science, technology, engineering, and
math (STEM) to boost their education and career aspirations.
In collaboration with the Center of Science and Industry (COSI), we will
become astronomers through the study of astrophysics and engineering. Join
us to build models of the James Webb Space Telescope, learn about the
Earth's atmosphere, discover why the Webb was sent to space, and explore how
it studies space. STEM can be accessible; let us show you how!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
