Earlier today I sent a message saying Emails and phone calls regarding 382 were no longer necessary. This is because we have accomplished what we set out to do last week. Our bill has been rolled into HB157.This is a Bill on which the House and Senate must concur. We expect the Senate to Concur
Next week. Once that happens the Bill will then be truly on its way to the Governor’s desk. Thank you to everyone who has helped with this legislation. It takes all of us to get this kind of thing done But let me say there is a lot that happens behind the scenes. For that reason I am glad we are near the end of this GA. I think I have used up all of my political capital for this GA. I anticipate writing one more Email on this topic next week, and I am confident it will be to share good news.

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
