Ohio members and friends,

It is with great sorrow that I report, Wayne Fletcher needs a kidney transplant.

I spoke to him today and he is headed toward the transplant list on the national register. He is very weak and still has an array of doctors' appointments coming soon. His first step is to be deemed eligible to be on the register. Then, the port will be inserted for him to have dialysis. So, if anyone is willing to donate a kidney, he is, be positive. Please reach out to me and I will help you contact Wayne.

As we were speaking, Wayne reflected on his life. He says that his life has been fruitful, and he has no regrets. Therefore, he’s dealing with it and Wayne says that he understands the outcome. His voice grew tender and somber, stating that the physician explained, it was diabetes and high blood pressure that caused his kidneys to fail. the physician declared; it was nothing that he intentionally did to his body. These things do happen. 

Consequently, A NFB member offered their kidney, but is not a blood match. I employ everyone to please take care of themselves, eat right and drink a lot of water. You should exercise as much as you can and live life  as you want.

I am urging everyone to please lift him up in prayer! This is a good man. He has been a true Federationist, and a devoted friend to us all.
