so stay tuned.

Read the message from the co-chair of the 14c task force.

Hello, everyone,

Hope all is well with you. The legislative day at the Statehouse yesterday
was successful, featuring scheduled meetings with senators, representatives,
and members of the Governor's team. Virtual meetings were also scheduled. We
also welcomed a lineup of speakers, including Rep. Jarrells, Rep. Lipps,
Gary Tonks, Suzanne Turner from the Ohio Federation of the Blind, and Katie
Hunt Thomas from the Ability Center. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who
contributed to planning and organizing the legislative day; your great work
made the event a success.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
