[Ohio-Talk] Prayers needed

I think most of the people on this list should be familiar with Eric and his
contributions some of us were in Columbus last week with the 14c task force
and had the chance to see him.

 

Thanks for letting us know, and our prayers for a healthy recovery.

Since some of you remember Eric Duffy and all that he has done for blind
people in Ohio and the NFB of Ohio, I thought you might be interested in
knowing  that he has appendicitis and is facing surgery later this morning.
Because of his previous brush with cancer in the early nineties, they do not
know what they are getting into. He may lose part of his colon. It just
depends on what they find. They will take a good look around while they have
him open. This means that recovery will be unfortunately rather unpleasant
and uncomfortable. Please be thinking of Eric as he faces this challenge.
