Hello, my Federation Family,

Washington Seminar was great! Got to hang out with a lot of great people throughout our Federation Nation, spoke with members of Congress about our legislative imperatives, and became hired as a Peer Support. Since Washington Seminar, I spoke to a large group of Peer Recovery Support Specialists, in North Carolina, about my work with CABVI, and my passion for Peer Support. My message centered around, turning obstacles into opportunities. Maybe I’ll share this same message at a future federation gathering. This upcoming Saturday will be my first day on the job. Although it’s part-time, it’s a foot in the door. It’s my hope that you and yours are doing well, and keeping warm throughout this cold season!
