President Payne has once again asked me to coordinate the Bell Academy in Ohio. This will be the fifth program I have coordinated, but as everyone knows we must all work together to make this a success. I have very little information to pass on at this point. I know now that I’ve said that, some of you are now saying well then why are you sending an Email to the list. Richard is probably one of those people.

What I can tell you is that although we are in the very early stages of planning, I am already excited about the  possibilities for our program this year. Marianne Denning and Debbie Baker will be our lead teachers if all goes according to my plan. Additionally Caroline Karbowski will be in Baltimore with me for Bell Training in late February. 

Now here is where all of you come in. We are going to need your help more than ever before. Start talking about this program in your meetings. Start thinking about how to spread the word about the program now. Please don’t wait until we have information to distribute. Although we are working to get informational materials ready as quickly as possible, there are many things not in our control. So we need you to start getting information out as soon as you have it. Recruiting new students will be our biggest challenges. 

Of course we are going to need volunteers. Will you volunteer? We also going to need money. What can you do to help raise funds? Again, talk about these things in your meetings, with your friends, and with your family.
