	Good morning, everyone,

Below is a message from Representative Jarrells and Representative Young to
submit proponent testimony. Please send in a letter supporting this bill as
a member it is very important.

I am asking all members to do this and if you can get your friends and
family to do the same then do that also.

I hope this message finds you well.
 
On behalf of Representative Dontavius L. Jarrells and Representative Tom
Young, I invite you to provide proponent testimony in support of House Bill
225 <https://ohiohouse.gov/legislation/136/hb225> , which phases out
subminimum wage for individuals with disabilities.
 
Hearing Details:
 
*	Committee: Ohio House Commerce and Labor Committee
 
*	Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2025
 
*	Time: 11:00 a.m.
 
*	Location: Room 018, Ohio Statehouse
 
If you are interested in testifying, either in person or via submitted
written remarks, please see below on the steps to take:
 
1.	Write your testimony. (Please use Rep. Jarrells's Testimony attached
as an example)
1.	It is important to address the chair, vice chair, & ranking member.
Ex; "Chair Johnson, Vice Chair Lear, Ranking Member McNally, and members of
the House Commerce and Labor Committee."
				 
2.	Fill out the Accessible Witness Information Form (Attached)
1.	This form will ensure that any accommodations are met and your
information is correct.
				 
3.	Submit Your Testimony
1.	You will need to email the Committee Email at

1.	In this email, you need to attach your testimony & the accessible
witness information form.
				 
4.	Wait for confirmation from their office that they received your
testimony.
 
Due to the committee being next week it is imperative that your testimony is
submitted 24 hours prior to the hearing.
 
Your voice and perspective would be incredibly valuable in demonstrating the
broad support behind this meaningful and inclusive legislation.
