Richard. Thank you for sharing this article. I really thing we did an excellent job of stating our case for the bill in Columbus, but the opposition has some really compelling arguments, which means we need to work all the harder to ensure that this is past into legislation.
Please let us know if there is anything else we need to be doing.
Very Best Regards,
Chris

Hello, I am forwarding a link to the Dayton daily news and trying to keep you in the loop.
Many of our members have submitted testimony in writing and person.
Good morning, all,
Here is the link to the task force meeting, along with a recent article on HB 225. I think Rep. Young did an excellent job emphasizing that we have an incredible workforce right here, and he highlighted the importance of ensuring they are paid at the same level. He really brought the focus to the business and hiring side of supporting people with disabilities.

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
