Agenda
1. Call to Order
The meeting will be called to order by President Payne. All Chapters and
Divisions are reminded to send their updated membership lists, pay per
capita dues, and submit their annual report unless they are submitting the
Gavel Report. These items are due by October 1 and should be submitted one
week prior to the convention.
2. Roll Call of the Ohio Board of Directors
Annette Lutz, Secretary of the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio,
will conduct the roll call of board members.
3. Approval of January Minutes
A motion will be presented to approve the minutes from the January meeting.
4. Financial Report
Kathy Legg, Treasurer of the NFBO, will deliver the financial report.
5. Convention Arrangements
Suzanne Turner and President Payne will provide updates and information
regarding the arrangements for the upcoming convention.
6. Reports from Chapters, Divisions, and Committees
Chapters, divisions, and committees will share their reports. There will
also be a discussion on Blind Equality Achievement Month and White Cane
Safety Day, focusing on what chapters, committees, and divisions are doing
to promote awareness.
7. The Onboarding Process
The board will review and discuss the onboarding process for new members or
participants.
8. NFB Portal and Membership Management
There will be an update and discussion on the NFB Portal and the management
of membership data.
9. Advocacy Day in Columbus
Plans and preparations for Advocacy Day in Columbus will be discussed.
Adjournment
The meeting will conclude following the completion of the agenda items.
