Greetings Ohio,
We are reaching out to seek your assistance. Many of our members actively
work across the state and nationally, and their hours are tracked to support
our organizational filings. We are being asked to submit the names of
members who are willing to log their volunteer hours. These donated hours
play a crucial role in our national reporting. If you are willing to help
track your work, please provide your name, email, and phone number. The
national team has simplified the process for submitting hours, making it
much easier. After reading the information below, please email me off list
with your details.

Message to the President of the Ohio Affiliate
Dear President of the Ohio affiliate,
Please read this message carefully as it contains important information and
instructions.
Recognition and Goals
Happy New Year! Thank you for your dedication and hard work throughout 2025.
The audit report on donated services hours clearly shows that our members
are active and engaged, and this would not be possible without your
leadership. Congratulations on achieving our 100K goal! We hope to replicate
this success in the coming year.
Updating the Volunteer List
We are requesting your help in updating our 2026 list of donated services
volunteers. Please inform us of any individuals who are no longer active in
the affiliate so we can remove them from the list. Additionally, we
encourage you to help the program grow by identifying new candidates who
regularly contribute to our affiliate or chapters.
Submission Instructions for New Volunteers
For new additions to the volunteer list, please send the following current
information for each individual who has agreed to provide hours:
*	Name
*	Phone number (if available)
*	Email address (preferred contact method)

On behalf of the Office of the President, thank you for all you have
contributed and for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Belinda Hooks

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
