[Ohio-Talk] THE TELEGRAPH: Man, 26, euthanised because he was diabetic and blind

I saw this earlier and after reading the article I still gasped. While
others might agree to the MAID laws, I’ve never been one to side with
doctor assisted death because in cases like this, it ends up being a
slippery slope. Just in the case of the MAID law in Canada when it was only
reserved for terminally ill and now they changed it to cases like this. I
don’t know…we may have our beliefs on whether we want to have MAID be a
thing but this would be the reason I say absolutely not. No judgment to
those that would feel the need to use it but my heart goes out to that
boy’s mother.
