It was actually a release for Phil. He was missing Lois, his wife of many years.<o:p></o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Phil and Lois were founding members of the Lorain County chapter. He served as president of the chapter for a bit. He chaired the Gavel Award Committee and the Resolutions Committee for sometime in the early eighties. Phil was a wise and dedicated counselor for many years. When we visited him in the Kendal Care Center, he made it clear that he was ready to go home. I know nothing about services. The Copelands had no children, and his nephew lived in California.
