In six short weeks all of us will be in beautiful Westlake, Ohio learning, advocating, and sharing a good time with one another. Part of that good time will be door prizes! Will President Payne win a prize this year? We will just have to wait and see. But more important, will you win a door prize this year? If you would like two, you have to register and be in the room when I call your name.</div><div><br></div><div>And, six short weeks from today, we will all break bread together at our banquet. We will hear an inspirational speech from national representative and NFB first vice president Pam Allen. We will give away scholarships and gavel awards and we will hold our annual auction. President Payne wants to impose a rule that nobody should bid against him. I think everybody should bid against him. We want to raise as much money for the affiliate as we possibly can so if that means running up the price, all the better.</div><div><br></div><div>But, for door, prizes and auction items to be available we need your donations. door prizes can be anything from gift cards, small electronics, Bath, and body items, baked goods, or even cash. Auction items are bigger ticket things. Themed gift baskets, larger, electronics, crafts, and even theater or sports tickets. We will take all of them. when you come to convention with your donation, please find me. I usually spend some time in the door prize room, which is right across from where we will hold general sessions. If you cannot find me, you can leave things at the registration table. But, I am all over the place at convention and usually easy to find. please have all door prize and auction items labeled in braille. We want to know what we are giving away or auctioning off and we\u2019d love to know who who the generous donor is. If you need assistance, brailing, you can find me for that as well.</div><div><br></div><div>Good luck to everybody this year at convention!
