During my interaction with Fred, an employee at the store, he assisted me by showing several guns. However, after this initial assistance, Fred mentioned that he needed to consult with his boss, Mike, regarding legal requirements due to my condition. Fred clarified, after speaking with Mike, that their concern was specifically because I am blind</font></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"><font face="Aptos"> and had to</font></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"> <font face="Aptos">fill out the printed forms with no assistance</font></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"><font face="Aptos">.</font></span></p>
<p dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Aptos">The actions taken by Fred and Mike were not only discriminatory but also demonstrated a lack of understanding of the relevant laws. A simple online search would reveal that if a blind individual requests assistance in filling out forms</font></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"><font face="Aptos"></font></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"></span><span lang="en-us"> <font face="Aptos">and as long as that individual understands the questions\u2014there is no legal barrier to completing the purchase. Despite this, I was denied service due to my disability.</font></span></p>
