Good Afternoon Ohio DAN Members,

 

Please read below the list and brief descriptions of committees that we will
support in the Ohio DAN. I require Chair persons and members that wish to
work in the committees.

 

If you are interested in a Chair position, please email me at
walterl.mitch2 at gmail.com <mailto:walterl.mitch2 at gmail.com>  with the reason
why you would be a great candidate for the chair position. Education and
experience is requested, but not required. I will provide the selection of
the chair positions in a subsequent email:

 

Membership committee: responsible for the growth of the division's
membership  and assessing the well being and requested support of the
members. Facilitate all on-boarding aspects.

 

Fundraising committee: responsible for the growth of the division's
treasury. Plan, schedule and carry out fundraising events that is conducive
to the objectives of the division.

 

Diabetic resources committee: responsible for developing, retaining and
providing to the community a list of resources to inform of the support
available as it relates to blind diabetics.

 

Technology committee: Identify medical technology innovations for blind
diabetics; responsible for the technology utilized for the division's
meetings and events; assist members with questions on computer, smart phone
and other equipment utilized by the division and it's members. Perform
research to answer unanswered questions. This particular committee is a
multifaceted committee, we will trend this committee as we recognize where
it's assets are utilized best.

 

I hope that each of you find a place where you would like to work in the
support of the division due to the fact that we all have skills and we
