Thank you Wanda for sharing. We all run into dilemmas that we may have
questions about. By sharing our experiences, we may provide information that
someone may use to overcome their situations and/or spark a conversation
with their Physician. We are all in this together!

Thanks,

Walter

I was very careful, I had no sweet stuff, but I do have some sugar free
cookies. My blood sugars were a bit high for me at 135 but I am ok. I take
ssome extra insulin and now this morning I am back to normal reading of 101.

Smile and have a good exercise day.

Greetings DAN members, family and friends,

If you have been naughty or nice for thanksgiving, please reply to all on
this thread with your confession or testimony., here's mine, I was a bad
boy:

Today, I had turkey, ham, roast and all the fixings, including sweet potato
pie. I knew that I would have a high blood sugar reading, but I wasn't
expecting for it to peak at 315, frown. Well, my solution was to take my
next dose of insulin one hour before scheduled. It worked and now I am down
to 175, smile. It is still coming down and I will probably be back to my 120
to 135 soon.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

In no way is this medical advice. I have a Dexcom G6 which provide me with
the information to trend my management of diabetes reasonably. Please
consult your physician prior to changing your medicine regiment!

Please share your experiences with managing your diabetes on a day like
today.

Thank you,

Bad boy, Walter Mitchell
