Hello to my DAN family.  Hope all is well with you.  I am sending you this
message to share that our DaN fundraiser tickets are here.  Please send me
your name address and the name of the chapter you represent, as well the
number of tickets you are requesting. Every NFB chapter in Ohio has a member
diagnosed with diabetes, thus your chapter is asked to participate to
support you.   We want each chapter in Ohio to sell at least 50 tickets.  If
you are representing your chapter please let me know that in your email when
you request your tickets.  We are selling tickets for the entire month of
August. Please mail your ticket stubs, unsold tickets, and your money no
later than September 5.  If you put everything in the mail by September, we
can have the drawing via our Sept. DAN meeting  see instructions/description
below

Hi Walter,  Here are the guidelines for our Dan fundraiser

10 times, 20 times, 30 times the money.

1.	Ticket price, $10
2.	Third prize, $100
3.	Second prize, $200
4.	First prize, $300
5.	Total prizes, $600;  

HOW IT WORKS?

Each participating group/organization will receive initially 50 tickets to
sell. Should they sell all 50 tickets, totalling $500, they keep $125 for
their local group and mail the tickets stubbs and $375 to me/Dan.  In short,
each group that help sell tickets can keep 25% of their sells as their own
fundraiser and mail us the stubbs and 75% of the sells.  The 75% of sells
will be used to pay the prizes and help our Dan organization support our
diabetic causes.  As this is a fundraiser, individuals who sell tickets but
is not part of a group please submit 100% of sells to our Dan fundraiser
committee.    See examples below:

 

e.g. 1-Delcenia Brown and Pamela Day are members of the Greater Cleveland
NFB chapter, Delcenia sells 10 tickets and Pam sells 15, tickets Cleveland
chapter gets credit for all 25 tickets.  Cleveland chapter keeps $62.50 and
they should mail 25 stubbs and $187.50 to Wilbert Turner c/o DAN,3041 East
121 Street, Cleveland, Ohio  44120.

 

e.g.-2  Charles Johnson sells 20 tickets, total sells $200.  He should mail
20 stubbs and $200 to: DAN, c/o, Wilbert Turner, 3041 East 121 street,
Cleveland, Ohio  44120

 

e.g.-3 Members at Large,  For those persons who are not a member of a
group/chapter in your area, but are active in the members At Large group,
Should the members at large sell tickets, 25% of your sells should be kept
by the members at large treasurer as a fundraiser for the members at large
and all stubgbs plus 75% of your sells should mailed to DAN c/o Wilbert
Turner, 3041 East 121 Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44120
